CrystalStones Micro

CrystalStones Micro

Last year we added a CrystalStones Micro to our pebble line of finishes. The response from the select applicators who have tried the finishes has been extremely positive. CrystalStones Micro utilizes the smallest pebble available on the market today. The aggregate is similar in size to our Krystalkrete and SunStone Quartz products.

Inspired by Nature

Inspired by Nature

Many of our customers find inspiration for their swimming pools in natural scenes they’ve encountered on their travels. Whether it’s a spring in a state park park or a secluded beach on the Mediterranean Sea we’ve tailored many of our finishes to mimic the water colors nature has given us. Often the water colors found in nature are green in hue. Green water has unfortunately carried a negative stigma for swimming pools, mainly because in the past a green pool meant an unhealthy pool. More often than not the green water was from algae growth which is a result of water chemistry neglect. At CL Industries we believe a healthy green water pool can be equally as stunning as a blue water pool. Over the years we’ve developed finishes in all of our product categories to give our customers stunning green water colors.

Texture

The second most frequently asked question from our customers is, “How is a particular finish going to feel?” Our pool finishes provide varying degrees of texture, from light to medium and ultra smooth. Our finishes are divided into three distinct categories; Quartz, Pebble, and Polished Marble. Texture is primarily determined by the type, shape and size of the aggregates in the finish.

Krystalkrete | Blue Quartz

Krystalkrete | Blue Quartz

Quartz finishes are commonly used in commercial pools, often because they cost lest than pebble or polished marble finishes and are superior to plain marcite. Amenity center, competition, and resort pools cover much more square footage than the average residential pool requiring a substantial investment on the interior finish side of construction.

Pool School With Randy Dukes

Our bond coat system is used by applicators of competing plaster projects for one simple reason; it is the best bonding agent available. I’ve seen so many failed plaster applications (new construction & remodels) over the years through my work as an expert witness, and many of them could have been avoided had the applicator properly prepared the substrate (and used a bond coat) prior to plastering the swimming pool.
